I just wanted to share the books I've bought at the thrift store lately!
Northanger Abbey - Jane Austen
I haven't read this book yet, but I've read other Jane Austen books
so I think I will like this one!
I only read an abridged version of a few of the stories when I was younger, but I remember really liking them, so I'm excited to read these some day!
(Haha it looks like my picture is blurry, but the cover is actually like that!)
A Grief Observed - C.S. Lewis
I actually don't know anything about this book, but I decided to get it, and I'm sure it's really good!
Moon Over Manifest - Clare Vanderpool
I actually got this book at the library today and then found it at the thrift store! I don't know much about this book, but I read another book by the same author called Navigating Early that was really good, so I decided to give this one a try!
Danny the Champion of the World - Roald Dahl
I haven't read this book, but I have read quite a few Roald Dahl books and I love his writing style!
The Art of Drawing Heads and Hands
I mainly draw cartoon sketches, but I thought this book could still be useful!
Frankenstein - Mary Shelley
I read this book last year and realized I didn't own it when I found it at the thrift store! I found it a while back on another trip to the store but the copy was very beat up and this one was in perfect condition.
The Road to Oz - L. Frank Baum
This is one of the books in the series of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz books. I probably shouldn't have gotten it because I will now have to find the whole set! XD
Tuck Everlasting - Natalie Babbitt
This book is pretty good. It wasn't my favorite, but for some reason I felt like I needed to buy it? :)
