All of my Art Supplies- 3/22/20

Hello!

I hope everyone is doing well! 

I just thought I would post today to show you all of the art supplies I own!

Okay, to start I'll show you all of the erasers, paint brushes, etc. that I have! 

These are just things that I have in my pencil case!

 Erasers

 These are tortillon shading tools that I like to use for realistic drawings

And paint brushes!

Next I'll show what's in my pencil case!

 Mechanical pencils and extra lead

 My nice set of pencils

 My regular random pencils

 This crayon thing

And these finger crayons!

Next is the fine-liners that I have!

 Tombow brush marker

 Set of Micron pens (that are running low!)

 White Gelly Roll gel pen

And this sparkly pen that I found in our house! 

Next is pens! I mainly only use these for writing, and not drawing!

 Gel pens

 Paper♥️Mate pens that are slowly disappearing and being used up!

 Pilot pens

 Random pens

And this wand pen!

Next comes colored pencils! (and a few Crayola markers)

 Random markers that I don't know why I have

 Erasable Crayola colored pencils

 Fine-Touch colored pencils

And just random colored pencils!

Here's quill and ink that I bought that is really hard to use!

A gel pen set 

And last, but definitely not least are my Ohuhu markers! These are the best! (and I'll probably talk more in detail about them in a later post!)

Thank you for reading! I am very grateful for all of the art supplies I have! And though it's fun to have a lot of art supplies, I have found that you really don't need a lot of supplies to make art!

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to let you know that I didn't have a sudden death that has prevented me from posting, and that I didn't forget my promise to post again soon, things just haven't been too great right now and I needed a little break from blogging! I know that it's been almost a month since my last post, but hopefully once this break has ended, I will be up and running again with exciting things to talk about and show you! It's never been easy for me to post things because I care a lot about what people think and also because I feel like everything I have to say is very boring, but I am going to work on growing out of that and breaking out of my shell of keeping all of my thoughts to myself! Illustration with New Art Supplies 2-12-20

Hello! 

So, yesterday I bought two NEW art supplies, and I thought I would share the first illustration I made with them! (I used other supplies too obviously!)

 So this was based off of a drawing prompt that was "gumball".

My drawing fits very roughly into that idea, but

I guess you can do whatever you want with prompts! :) 

I am sort of happy with how this turned out, though I'm 

still getting used to using the markers!

 This is a Tombow ABT N15 water-based fine-liner brush pen. 

I really like it, though it's definitely not what I'm used to using for line-art!

This is just a white jel pen (Gelly Roll in size 10), but I've heard

that white jel pens are a good art supply to have by a few artists!

It doesn't show up quite as well as I would want, but I still really like it!

I'm really happy that I got these and can't wait to use them more in the future! I plan on doing a post on the markers I used as well as my other art supplies in the near future! :)

One Day of Drawings - 1-21-20

Hello! 

It may not be very professional to say I've run out of post ideas, but it would at least be truthful! Ever since I started a blog I have run into the issue of having nothing to post about. I'm hoping that inspiration will hit, but in the mean time I thought I would share one day of sketching in my normal life. I definitely don't get this much drawing done every day, but I would say I usually draw two pages in my sketchbook daily. These are all very quick sketches that I don't really like, but I would never post my art if I waited to post a drawing I was actually proud of!

Here's what I drew:

 I covered up the sketch in the left-hand corner because I had drawn it the previous day and it did not turn out well! I was mainly practicing drawing the same person over again in different poses for this page. (I also needed something to do while I was in my online class!)

I really dislike all of these drawings, but this post wouldn't be complete without all of my drawings for the day, even if I didn't like these! (I copied some of these ideas from other artists by using reference pictures, just fyi!) 

I actually like how this page turned out because it shows how my idea developed after I drew it over and over again. I saw a picture of a pineapple, and thought it would be fun to try to make a human look like one, and I ended up designing a little pineapple king character. (Also, ignore the animals in this picture because I cannot draw animals at all!!)

Art + Some Pictures 1/9/20

Hello! 

I am very uncomfortable with sharing my art, but I haven't been very happy with anything I've been drawing lately, so I thought that if I posted some of it, it might force me to

try a little harder? I don't know! Well, I thought I would just put a couple pictures of some sketches I did yesterday and while I was in class, and I included a few other pictures to make it less weird! :D
